Treatments

Acupuncture & traditional healing services

Each treatment is tailored to your needs, with a focus on restoring balance and supporting your overall health and well-being.

01Acupuncture

Using thin, sterile, single-use needles, acupuncture stimulates specific points on the body to support natural healing. It may help with pain, mobility issues, sports recovery, digestive concerns, headaches, fertility, stress, mood disorders, facial rejuvenation and more.

02Sports acupuncture

Targeted trigger-point and motor-point needling, along with manual tissue release, can reduce muscle tension, relieve pain and restore function. The EXSTORE assessment method helps identify the areas that require treatment so you can feel better, faster.

03Holistic microneedling

Ultra-fine needles create microchannels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This natural approach may help reduce fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, support hair restoration, even skin tone, and improve texture and firmness. Traditional Chinese Medicine principles are incorporated to support skin health and internal harmony.

04Nanoneedling

A gentle needle-free option for sensitive skin, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Microscopic silicone tips enhance serum absorption, hydrate and exfoliate the skin, and encourage cellular renewal—with an instant glow and no downtime.

Book a complimentary consultation to discuss your skin goals and explore the best treatment options for you.

05Cosmetic acupuncture

This inside-out approach supports natural radiance by increasing circulation, toning facial muscles and encouraging collagen production. Treatments address the whole body and include acupuncture tailored to you, LED light therapy, and topical botanical serums or moisturizing organic facial oils.

06Cupping

Suction cups placed on the skin enhance circulation, reduce pain and improve mobility. Cupping is often used for muscle tension, sports recovery, respiratory symptoms and stress relief. Temporary marks may appear as part of the process. Book it as a standalone treatment or together with acupuncture.

07Gua Sha

A gentle scraping technique used to improve blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Gua Sha is often used for muscle relief, facial rejuvenation and general wellness. Temporary redness may occur.

08Moxibustion (Moxa)

Moxa involves burning mugwort over specific points on the body to provide deep heat and therapeutic benefits. It is commonly used for pain, scar healing, fertility, immunity and digestive issues. Moxa is not offered in the studio, but you may be given a moxa stick for home use.

Lainey Markle, Registered Acupuncturist

Meet your practitioner

Hi, I’m Lainey.

I’m Lainey Markle (Noren-Stone), a Registered Acupuncturist practicing in the beautiful valley of Grand Forks, BC. I’ve worked with patients for more than a decade and am excited to bring my skills back to my hometown.

I have extensive experience working with pain and injuries, and I’m passionate about supporting women as they prepare for childbirth and recover postpartum. I also offer cosmetic acupuncture, holistic microneedling and nanoneedling—bringing together my education in holistic wellness and love of natural skincare.

Traditional acupuncture sees the body as a whole, inseparable unit. That perspective is at the heart of how I care for each person.

Outside the clinic, I’m a wife and mother of two. Our family stays busy baking, gardening, making crafts and enjoying everything this valley offers—from skiing and swimming to biking, tennis, pickleball, hiking and running. If you have a favourite local trail, I’d love to hear about it.
